I got a couple of speeding tickets a few years ago while on a trip from Houston to El Paso. One from Sonora I believe, and the other one just right outside of El Paso and I am not sure who's jurisdiction is it.
I've lost the tickets since and have always wanted to pay them. I will try calling the Sonora PD and see if my License is still on file. But I am not sure how to locate the other one I got just outside of El Paso, on I-10. Any LEO on the board has any suggestions?
How to locate past speeding tickets in small Texas towns?

I'm in a similar situation myself. Do these small town unpaid tickets create arrest warrants for those counties alone, or all over Texas?

As a general rule, the warrants will be only for that jurisdiction. Some cities will put it with the county, but some will not.
Some cities will take advantage of the new state law and notify DPS, so you can call the DPS licensing station and ask them to run your license for renewal and find out.
If no one told DPS about it, calling the jurisdiction is the only way.

I renewed my DL last year and I got the tickets back in 2003 or 2004 I believe. So that tells me that up to last it is not in any DPS system.

A ticket from Patton Village (Hwy. 59, just north of Houston) caught up with me 4 or 5 years later. They sent a warning letter, with the fine and accrued penalties listed. Because of my shift work I couldn't call them myself, so my (then-) wife called and negotiated it down to about half the amount they said I owed. IIRC, it was less than the original ticket amount.
During that same trip, she'd gotten a totally bogus ticket in Henderson (she was driving well under the limit, because we were sort of lost and were carefully watching for road signs.) About three years later, a Texarkana PD officer actually knocked on our door and told her Henderson had issued a warrant, and advised her to pay. She did.
