I went to IAH the other day. Terminal B. They had the lower level doors posted with the Gun Busters sing along with local ordinance sign with very small letters. When I got in to the baggage area, I saw a rather large portable 30.06 sign in the police store front. I asked the LEO inside about the legality of a CHL holder carrying in the airport. She said it was legal anywhere outside of the security check point. Kind of confusing, I think.

But, since the police station is considered a government owned or leased property, the 30.06 sign would have no legal meaning.
