Status changed today, day 70, to:

"Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

I don't know how long it will take to mail but I'm leaving tomorrow morning and won't be back till Monday night. Maybe I'll have a present waiting for me in the mailbox.

YAY!!

Congrats to all the 60-80 day people. It's been so nice watching you enter the waiting room and leave before me.

Are there any other 80+ people like me still hanging around in the waiting room? I'm at day 83. When I called today, I talked to a very nice person who reasearched and determined that I'm only waiting on the FBI response. She stated that there is a backlog of forms going to and coming from the FBI, so this may be causing some delays.

Oh well, the waiting is starting to hurt my butt. Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer..... :(

Ryan

Wow, maybe we'll have to create a new status of "permanent resident" in the waiting room. :smilelol5:

Yeah I know; I'll punch myself to save you a trip.

I thought it was odd but this explains why the Maintance guys were putting up a mailbox here in the waiting room.

I didn't know about this waiting room when I was waiting or I would have been waiting with you. Although that was over a year ago now...

Packet HAND DELIVERED to DPS on 2 December, 2004.
License received about 1 April, 2005.

Funny thing though - that coded date on the side says 10 December, 2004 as the "active" date but that doesn't corespond to the website activated information or when I actually received it.

The FBI must be still trying to figure out why there's an aggie in Austin ;-)

But to get it back on topic, day 83 closes soon, and day 84 is around the corner. :cryin
