Interest check: no gun = no money cards?
I was thinking about making my own "no guns = no money" cards, like the ones I see at my local gunstore.
I was wondering (with Charles's blessing of course) if there was any interest in a set of "TexasCHLForum.com" branded cards.
Here's a rough idea of what i've drawn up:
front:
back:
I'd love to know if, most importantly, a TexasCHLForum.com branded card would have Charles's blessing, and assuming it does, would anyone want one? If there's a bit of interest, i'll get some prices.

Looks like nice work.
I don't know if your aware or not, but these can be purchased through TSRA. The ones that they have available are virtually identical.
Here is the link. http://www.tsra.com/sto/ban_card.htm

I actually found a better online service that allowed me to make even higher quality cards, so here's what I did:
The service I used was http://overnightprints.com.
When I get ahold of the finished copy, i'll let you know how they turn out. If you want to make your own, you can take my fullsized designs from here:
front of card
back of card
EDIT: IF you do it right, it's only marginally more expensive per card as the TSRA's cards, and I feel they look infinately better.

Got the cards today. On a scale of 1-10, they are a 7. They look a lot better than the TSRA cards, in my opinion, but aren't on the level of a professional business card.
If anyone wants any, PM me.

Thats a little almost "like sands through an hourglass" type exchange...
Had a great informal, yet extremely valuable exchange of ideas with Mr. Dark, the honorable Mr. Keel and Ms. Tripp in early February in Mesquite in the lounge of the hotel where the TSRA conference was held this last time...
I never once got the idea about bringing up the condition of the website up for some reason...
They always have liked my "crazy" ideas about where Texas needs to go in regards to "improving" our CHL law...Besides what some may think about those ideas here...
I don't like it when people, who for the most part agree on the issue as a whole, try to posture themselves, and quibble over semantics like about the website...And it turn into a henhouse...
Just remember...That fox is waiting just outside that coop, and if we're not careful, we will lose ground...I can guarantee you that...

Well, your card design looks a lot better than my attempts.nitrogen wrote:I actually found a better online service that allowed me to make even higher quality cards, so here's what I did:

Feel like attempting it in 4x6 postcard format? Front design should just be a matter of scaling it up, but the right half of the back would need to be blank for address/stamps.
As I mentioned in another thread, a postcard stamp is cheap, and would beat the hassle of having to disarm to give the other cards to someone inside a posted business.
