I will be in SA on the 18th of may

Post by Texasdoc »

I will be in San Antonio on the 18th of May and was wondering if anyone wants to get a Cup and talk. the wife has a Meeting at sea World and I really don't want to be there.

Anyone know of a place that is close so I might get a bit of shooting in.

Any help would be great.

It's an outdoor range. At least it was when I lived in SA.

I plan to check out the Bullet Hole the next time I am in SA, it sounds like they have a lot going on, the last time I was there I found A Place to Shoot on the South side that had Crazy Quail that was a lot of fun.

San Antonio Range

The Bullet Hole is near where you will be and it is a good place. Many shooting events take place there throughout the week and weekends. Lots of IDPA, AASA Steel Shoots, and weekly competitions.

The place is managed by Michelle, a superb and knowledeable young lady. On May 18th, there will be a Pistol League Shoot and a separate DUELING TREE MATCH consisting of 6, 6inch plates that spin on a tree. Participants shoot from the low ready on a table at 10yds. The object of the game is to spin all six plates. Participants complete 6 relays and we will throw out the worst time and average the remaining 5 for best time.

If you are still here during the evening, you may want to enjoy it. The 3-gun matches on Thursday are lots of fun - especially in low or almost no light at times.

Cell: 210-601-6040.

Give me a call if you want a cup of Starbucks (my second home). There is a possibility I may be traveling out of the country that week, but if I'm here, you have a cup of coffee.

Sorry I could not make it to the Bullet Hole today and meet and shoot with you. My wife was admitted to the hospital and I had to tend to her needs.

I hope to catch up with you the next time you're in SA.

Phil:
I'm sorry about your wife being in the hospital. Martha and I will add her to our prayer list. I hope you can still make it to the 2006 Texas State IDPA Championship; I'm looking forward to seeing you again.

Regards,
Chas.
