Opportunity to shoot with forum member today.

Post by flintknapper »

Had an occasion to shoot with LongTooth and an old knife instructor of mine today. I met LT while renewing my CHL back in December. He is responsible for directing me to this site.

What a great guy! If you ever have the chance to meet him, or the opportunity to get together and shoot, don't pass it up.

If you can't get along with this guy, you can't get along with anyone.

Flintknapper,

Your post is exactly why I'm looking forward to September. A reference to the following post.

TexasCHLforum Day at PSC

I'd really like to meet with the folks from this forum. All seem to be well mannered, well educated, intelligent, sincere, gracious, kind hearted, all around good people. Says a lot about CHL carriers.

+1 I've been fortunate to have met several forum members. I also attended the first TexasCHLForum day. It was a very fun day and it was great meeting so many people.

To get back to the topic, I also had the pleasure of meeting Lt and his wife. they are good people. Lt and I has arranged to exchange some brass. It took several months for the exchange to actually happen. We finally met in a truck stop parking lot. We had a good conversation and I thought his wife was gonna steal our baby girl. In fact, a hungry baby was the reason we finally had to leave otherwise I could have stayed in the parking lot a lot longer.

If you get a chance to meet Longtooth take it. It's something you won't forget.

I hope to get to shoot with him soon.
