IANAL, but I believe you are required to answer truthfully during voir dire. If you were empaneled and the defense attorney found out that you had lied during jury selection, he could move for a mistrial and probably get it.

Yes, I know it's only a TV show, but one of the attorney's on an episode of Boston Legal was charged with purgery for lying in order to get on a jury for a specific case.
