Carrying At My Office

#1

Post by PsychDiver »

I am still waiting for CHL. Probably 30 days to go. But my understanding is that I can carry at my office. It is my business and I rent and control the premises. However, it is in an office building that has other offices rented by other tenants. Am I right in how I understand the law? And do I have to leave my weapon in my office when I walk down the hall to use a common restroom to all tenants?

The common areas are not your premises so they're off limits until you have your CHL.

But you can carry directly on your way to and from your vehicle.

The answers so far (excluding mine of course) are good...

By the way, do you need a trustworthy, honest, hard-working employee that happens to be available right now???

Never mind that I have a CHL...shhhhhh, we won't tell anyone...Especially the boss...

A lot of people here will vouch for me...

On second thought, lets leave them out of this...

If you have a degree (preferably masters) in psychology, social work or related field I could probably use you. Any counseling or psychological testing experience?

Comp-Tac is hiring, maybe you could design their next holster line. I'd be willing to bet it's not posted, plus they give out guns as bonuses.

I have a degree in Psychology, and am working on my masters currently. Where are you located? I'm always looking to expand my options.... :tiphat: ......Plus, I think that it makes sense to hire fellow CHL holders. Good luck, and be safe.
