gemini wrote:Thanks Joe 817, and the "Blue" sign covers both the left (food side) and right (bar side) of the entire
establishment? Fantastic. It's also interesting. I was in Arlington for lunch today. I didn't have time
to check out J. G's again personally. So, you doing the leg work helps me out for next time I need a
house burger & fries.
Yes, it covers both sides, as I asked the bartender on the beer side where the liquor license was and she said the only one we have is on the food side(the south side entrance on South street is actually the front entrance of the entire establishment, although it doesn't look like it.) The license is actually immediately to the right as you step in from the south entrance, with their other licenses and permits.

And gemini, thank YOU for starting the thread. It was a real learning experience for me. Now I know exactly what to look for when I have questions.

If you're in the area, we should get a bunch of forum members together and meet there for lunch someday. It'd be a hoot. I'm about 10 minutes away.

I have noticed( now that i'm looking) there are quite a few establishments that are bars with a menu and have neither a 3006 or 51% sign posted. nothing. i figure if it's a beer joint with a burger menu, i need to leave it outside even if there is not a sign.

I certainly would not tell you when or where to carry. I personally will carry unless specifically forbidden by law.

I agree, I carry where ever I can legally. :txflag:

And after September you won't have to worry about it if they don't have the .51 posted.
