I always worry that anything that even vaguely IMPLIES "I have guns" is a sign that says, "Case the joint until you're SURE it's empty, it's worth the wait."
Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Don't need a mechanical/electronic alarm - my miniature schnauzer is much more attuned to strange noises than most sensors; she sleeps in the bed with me, gets very loud very quickly when anything goes bump in the night, and although she hasn't (thankfully) been tested, I'm sure she would be an excellent bad-guy locator. Current nightstand companion is a G17L, Streamlight TLR-1 (130 lumens), CTC laser (why make it a fair fight??).
