about 6 years ago i was arrested for DUI, booked and fingerprinted. it was later expunged (spelling?) and all charges dropped and i was told that it will not show up on my record at all. should i report this when applying for my chl?
EDIT: if it matters, i was only 17 and blew a .083 where the legal limit for a 21 year old is .08. i pleaded guilty to a lesser charge as a juvenile, not an adult
question about arrest and expunged

Re: question about arrest and expunged
You do need to report it on your application, since you were arrested. But, it will not be a disqualifier for the CHL. Submit copies of the disposition of your case, and you will be fine.

If you don't have the paperwork from the court, then contact the agency that processed you. The county criminal court clerk is where you would go in Texas. Start with the arresting police department, and see if they can point you in the right direction.

i guess there will be an equivalent somewhere in kentucky where i got in trouble...
Re: question about arrest and expunged
Make sure you get CERTIFIED copies of the disposition...DPS will reject them if they are not certified.
