What a 51% License Looks Like..

#1

Post by Carry Big Stick »

Looked to see if something like this had been posted in the past and didn't find anything. I know people are always posting asking about what to look for to determine if a location is 51% or not and I know someone who has a beer and wine business that is a 51% location. So I snapped a picture for those out there that are wondering what a 51% license looks like. Ironically I work at a winery and our license doesn't have either the sign=red or the sign=blue on it, so I had to use his.

Here it is..

Thank you. I was in a place the other day and couldn't find a sign of any sort... 51%, 30.06, or the "unlicensed carry" sign... etc.
I also couldn't find their liquor license. Is there a standard place it's supposed to be?

This is the liquor license and should be posted around the bar area.

Are you thinking of the 51% sign? It looks like this

I think Carry's point was how to determine if the establishment has the correct sign based on their license.

that was my point indeed. I know the actual 51% sign had been posted before but wanted to post this so others will know what they are looking for on the actual license.

I didn't mean to speak for you, but I saw that tread immediately go off track so.....................
I had occaision to look at a license at my favorite Mexican food joint after they moved down the street to a different location. Their sign went from the normal food/ alcoholic bev to a 51%. I think they saved the sign form the former proprietor who was an ice house. Anyway it got changed to the correct "blue" per their liqour license. I had to look all over to find out how to tell so maybe your post will help someone else. :patriot: :txflag:

Saw a NON-51% sign at Buffalo Wild Wings today.

Sign said blue... looked green to me.
