Recommend CHL class - Ft Worth area

#1

Post by TGIF »

Howdy,

I'm new to the site and would like feedback on good/bad classes in the Fort Worth area. I have contacted Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, Cheaper Than Dirt and found chltx.com site. Others? :headscratch

Thanks for the input.

Sorry, I just realized I probably posted this in the wrong section of the site. New to forums too...... Would there be a better section to post this?

Ya post probably OK in this section or carson1 would have probably moved it. Welcome to the forum. A lot to be gleaned here as "continuing education" after anyone's class. FWIW, I have CHL class scheduled for Jan. 22. Only been doing em for 15 years tho. ;-)

Crossfire Training teaches at Cabelas, and at the Roanoke Recreation Center. My wife got her CHL from them, and my son and his girlfriend will be taking their class this coming Saturday at Cabelas. I highly recommend them. I'll be there with my wife, sitting in on the class because I'm real proud of my son.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll look into them. Looking forward to getting this done. By the way what is the minimum age limit for getting a CHL?

Minimum age is 21, unless you are active duty or honorably discharged military - then 18.

I have 3 dogs in this hunt.
Which ever you are closest to, 2 are excellent & the 3rd is pretty OK.
Crossfire Training in FtWorth or Greybeard in Denton Co.
The above 2 are excellent.

The below is OK even though he is one of the new kids on the block. "rlol"
If you want to drive just a little futher Practical Personal Defense in Diboll. Just South of lufkin on US 59.
I have a class the 22nd also & from Classroom to the range is only 4miles.

Who ever you choose. Go do it.
