I really never find too great of deals at the gun shows anymore, at least not for the things I'm looking for (Will Rogers). The fact that they are now charging for parking and have raised the entry price is enough to keep me away. I can feel free to lounge around the house looking for super sweet internet deals while I hang a 38 from my drawers if I want. TMI, I know but that's how it is. Truthfully, and in the interest of the OP, I would find the restroom, outside the 30.06, or a nice corner to slide into and quietly do my business. There is that option of heading to the car though that I hear works pretty well. Legality, IANAL, just respectful. I would most certainly NEVER have a loaded firearm of any type beyond the unwelcome sign, legal or not. +1 on the ultra bad advice.

This could be a whole other, non-gun offense.DFWTT wrote:I would find the restroom, outside the 30.06, or a nice corner to slide into and quietly do my business.

Somewhat off topic, but the last gun show I went to at Longview's Maude Cobb center did not have 30.06 posted. They did have an off duty LEO checking and zip tying weapons. A generic sign saying all weapons must be unloaded and inspected was posted. On my way out I had a discussion with the officer and he agreed that with my CHL I could have ignored the sign, paid my admission and carried concealed and loaded within the show. It was a Classic Arms Production show.

Why? They probably have money, likely to have firearms AND those firearms are ostensibly unloaded. Unless they pick the one that violated the rules it might be a pretty good haul.TexasGal wrote: Besides, you really would have to be a dumb criminal to pick on people exiting a gun show.
+1 on doing business anywhere else BUT gun shows.
