Anybody that's going have one of those NAA mini revolvers? I've always thought that they were cool just never got to shoot one. I've been thinking about picking one up, not for SD just for fun and conversation. Just asking, I'd like to shoot before I buy even though that's never stoped me before. I pretty much only shoot after I buy and I've never met a gun that I didn't like :fire

"The Cellar" sounds good.

Will we have some time to shoot trap and will there be someone there that's willing to "instruct"?

Andy is offering a skeet session after lunch, I believe.

Andy: want to discuss it more?

We've decided on going to a restaurant and are now choosing which one. There's no reason you can't bring a sack lunch to eat at the range and just order a drink at the restaurant if money is tight or there are special food needs or anything else.

I'm not going to make it, my sons graduation is on the 14th. I simply didn't want anyone having fun without me there. :evil2:

One more question ... was out at Alpine Shooting range yesterday and they do not allow any type of FMJ ammo. Does this range have the same restrictions?

I liked the one we went to last time.

Andy - I'd like to join in the skeet shooting after lunch!

They do on the rifle range. I've never had an issue on the pistol range.

I believe they allow FMJ on the "tactical" rifle/pistol area to the right of the regular pistol lanes. I have checked both times I've been there and they have no problem with the FMJ surpus 7.62x54r ammunition through the Mosin Nagant. They do not allow FMJ on the long (100 yd) rifle range to the far left, and you must have optics there as well.

They also allow slugs through shotguns on the "tactical" area. I'll have my Mossberg 500 there as well. My boys have asked that I reinstall the shoulder stock as they found it difficult to control with the pistol grip and 18 1/2" barrel.

If you're able to stay awake after tucking away all that food - sure, mate ;-)
Don't worry about me. You just practice your "duck & cover" for when I pull out the Sweet Sixteen I haven't used in almost 40 years! :biggrinjester:
