Now this may be an intersting development.....
That would be interesting. Last time there I left it in the car in the parking lot.

If I were able to carry in Sea World this could be a tough choice. My daughter likes to go on the rides, but my wife does not. So, get wet and have cover shirt fly up on roller coasters or leave gun in car again? Hmm.

Well I just do the shows and exhibits anyway, so wouldn't affect me.

Well, if you aren't busy on June 18th, you are welcome to come back just for the shooting. I don't think we could have gotten a get together all planned as qucikly as you are coming this time. Sorry to miss you.

If you are still looking for restaurant recommendations, try Tomatillo's Cafe Y Cantina on Broadway if you visit the Zoo around mealtime.

It's around the corner from the Zoo: http://www.tomatillos.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Was that the 2 story place on Broadway with the alligator on top? They had some awesome gumbo.

Revisiting this thread to see if there is any new information. Our trip is next week.

I checked the Sea World website and there is no mention of firearms about being allowed or prohibited. Cool.

Has any one been there this season and did they have the 30.06 signs up or not?

Unfortunatly I have to report that I was there in April and yes it was posted on the sidewalk as you walked into the park. It was big and bold--hard to miss. :grumble So nope can't carry there, but the parking lot was not posted so I guess you could carry there.

Thanks Mamabear.

I guess I'll just have to leave it in the car. My daughter will like that since I'll be able to do more of the rides and slides with her. Mom doesnt like them. What can I say, my daughter is somewhat of a thrill seeker like her dad. I'm going to have to keep an eye on that in a few years.

I must have missed the sign. was there last weekend and never saw it. Didn't carry because of water and rides, plus the place was crawling with LEO's. I will not argue if its there or not I just never saw it. I am very self conscious in looking because i don't want to be in trouble. went weekend of the 4th. Maybe i should walk slower and instead of looking at people I should look harder for signage.

From an old thread, viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32772" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, here is a picture of the sign:
