I think that you mean an activity sponsored by the school, not just a sporting event.

When you do take it, they will cover all of this.

Suffice to say, you CANNOT carry in buildings on campus.

There was a bill before the Texas legislature that would have allowed carrying in buildings had it passed. It did not pass. It got lots of press time in the last couple months, though.

NO!

Unless I'm mistaken, if he has a CHL, he can carry on campus. He just can't carry into any of the buildings, or any of the sporting events.

Where online are you getting your information?

Unfortunately, because Campus Carry failed, the only way to carry on campus is to take a stroll down a sidewalk...and never enter any campus building. You can't carry to class, yet.

Please enlighten us as to where online you're finding such dangerously wrong information.

Other forums. I just reviewed the actual 82nd.. It did not pass.. And yes I have taken the class. When I did, the bill was in the proccess of being either rejected or passed. I had not reviewed it since the class. During the class my chl instructor told us that it was looking like it was going to be passed so I was just wondering... Apppppreciate the sarcasm though.. It was "dangerously" necessary.
