Hey all,
I work in a hospital. The hospital is a PRIVATELY owned community hospital. There is no 30.06 sign anywhere. I have CHL.
Can i carry in THIS hospital? I understand that, from CHL class, this is not recommended, but i was unclear whether this only applies to public hospital only or to all.
Thanks in advance.

If it's not posted, see 46.035(i) for the law. See your HR manual for company policy.

I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Thanks. So, if the hospital does not have 30.06, then i can carry within premise?? Is that correct??Ameer wrote:If it's not posted, see 46.035(i) for the law. See your HR manual for company policy.

Correct, it it LEGAL for you to carry. However, if the company policy prohibits firearms, you can be fired.Thai wrote:Thanks. Re: Question Regarding Privately-Owned Hospital Carry
Sounds like a hospital near me ... they posted a warning; protected by attack chicken sign .... and several nearby office buildings have "No Guns Allowed" signs at some doctors offices across the street ... nut nowhere at the hospital near me, are they illegal.... however, it's against the law to smoke there ... and they are very very well posted no smoking .... all over the place on every window, door and 30 places before you get to the doors.
