I'll argue the other side... Just to stir the pot a little.

If somebody feels worried about an inadvertent, unintentional display of a concealed weapon, and a "badge" alleviates this fear and enables them to carry more confidently, why not? As long as the badge is concealed as well or better than the weapon. Silly? Sure.. But.. Who's it hurting?

IMO, you should not carry if you're not confident about your concealment. A badge is not necessary... however, what's the harm?
If a person thinks it's a batman badge, they already have other problems and a badge is just a symptom.

No, I don't have one and don't plan to get one... Just being devil's advocate.

If I was to get one, I like this style...

The harm will be something along the lines of
Tonight at 10 we'll report on a serious accident on the loop that sent a number of people to the hospital, The local Democrat Party fund raiser, a man who was arrested for impersonating a police officer, and to help us with that story we'll have a guest from the Violence Policy Center's website Concealed Carry Killers...
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Can we just make this a sticky and be done with it?

Roy,

I like that style also...bet it would look just great with my big Sam Browne, mag holders, PR-24, pepper spray, and handcuffs. If I ever get to be a cop, I will be all ready!

(You just know there has to be some non-LEO out there that has that stuff).

"rlol"

Speaking of non-LEOs trying to impersonate one. There was a kid I went to high school with. He was about a year behind me. He somehow got ahold of a dashboard light and was pulling people over on I-25, around the Woodman Road exit in Colorado Springs. He was handing out "oral warnings" to people that he pulled over. It was all going well until he pulled over an off-duty State Trooper. Would love to have been a fly on the windshield that day. Um, maybe not.

Reminds me of the guy that posted on another forum asking who made a good left handed drop leg holster because he open carried and wanted to carry two guns so he could have a backup. :banghead:

If your getting that badge, and sash, might as well get this to go with them.

Me thinks a new rule for posting on the Forum should be a WARNING about posting any questions in regards to the CHL badge.

Yes, you forgot "signs", the Post Office and how to use a public bathroom.
