Federal insurence of Credit Unions.

#1

Post by oneshooter »

While at my Credit Union I was talking to the Sheriffs Deputy there. In the course of our conversation he mentioned that the Texas CHL laws do not apply to Federally Insured institutions. He explained that due to that, there is no need to post 30.06, that there is no legal CC because of the Federal Insurance.
How does this read with y'all? I have never heard of this before.
Any ideas?

Oh man, I had an FHA loan on my house, or was it a VA loan insured by the Federal Govt. ....
Someone in the bank has a federally insured loan ... someone at the grocery store does too ...
Ohhh noooo there's a G.M. car parked in front of that Library, G.M. had a Federal bailout loan ...

True but they seem to be a lot more frequent in government jobs.

Union shops. :biggrinjester:
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
