CHL Renewal

Post by shooter75056 »

During the CHL renewal class the instructor kept stressing the return of your old license. My question is, Is there a specific address to return your old license? I can't seem to locate any info regarding thid on the DPS website.

You do NOT need to return the expired license. You only returned a modified license, meaning you changed from NSA to SA.

If DPS wants it back, they will send you a return envelope.

Little different angle but close enough to ask on this thread. I wanted to save my first CHL so when my renewal arrived, I put my expired one in the safe. A buddy has told me that technically I am suppose to destroy the old one. Sounded silly to me. Any truth to this?
