High Caliber Gun and Knife show this weekend.

Can we carry there? I figure someone here has already been through this.

BTW-is this even a decent gun show?

They have a 30.06 sign posted, but let you in if the gun is unloaded. It's also a very small gun show, but it always seems to be crowded, so obviously some people really like it.

The large Houston Gun Collectors Show is next weekend at Reliant Center.

Regards,
Chas.

SJRTX--

It is a small show as C.L. Cotton stated, but I've been to the Pasadena show several times and don't even think twice about driving from Woodlands area to go to it. Lots of hand guns, long guns, black powder, historical pieces, custom knives and knife makers. It was posted last time I went. Give it a try, it's a good show. But go early, because they do get crowded.

I have driven there from Lufkin & thought it worth the trip every time. I found reloading supplies there cheap enough to be well worth the drive if you buy a good quantity.

Well Im going to there to look for an AK, specifically a Romanian SAR 1. Does anyone recall seeing "assault" rifles there?

Yes, many. As a matter of fact the last time I was there a vendor almost fainted. My son is a drill instructor at Lackland in SA. He was at a table talking to vendor or customear or both maybe. A ? was asked about some internal part of an AR (I shoot an M1A & let him have the AR) The vendor did not know & Micah asked if he could show him. Guy said yes & before he could do anything but let his jaw hit the floor Micah had it in every piece Military personel break it down into. Had some little tool in his pocket to make the bolt assembly come apart easier. They were piled not in a line & the guy was a little unhappy. Micah reminded him that he said yes. He put it back together just as fast when through & let him know what he did at Lackland. BACK TO YOUR ? They will have a lot of assalt rifles. The AR's & AK's I am not real familiar with but I would be very surprised if you do not find one.

That's it; no ammo. I've found the best prices on ammo at the Pasadena show. I got a case (1,000) of Remington green box .45 ACP for $170, plus tax.

I think this is the show that the PSC ladies shooting class (or a portion of) are going to this weekend...

"Wife Unit" has said she's going to that, if its this weekend...And boys are not allowed?!?!?!

Go figure that one???
