Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't HB 318 (records confidentiality) never make it out of committee this last term?

See, I am not sure...I recall that I "thought" it made it out of there with a bunch of other "good" bills, and got voted on, and signed into law...

This was one of them...And I think there is some discussion on this very bill back in the archives in the website...

HB318 passed the House and died in the Senate Criminal Justice Committee. It never received a hearing in the Senate.

This would be your call...

Don't supply that information, and let us know if they ask you to supply it anyway after you submit your package...

Since the DL and CHL infomation kinda reference each other, they may need that DL info to complete their side of the process...

I don't know, but I doubt DPS will process a CHL application without the Tx. Driver's License number. It appears on the CHL itself and DPS wants LEO's to know you have a CHL when they run the TDL.

Anybody knows the form I need to "opt out"? It's said there's form that I could use to tell DPS not to release my personal info on my DL.
