You're probably more likely to get spotted messing with your holster/gun/cover garment than by simple printing.
Check before you leave and work out some unobtrusive methods to check infrequently throughout the day--particularly after doing something that might cause an issue (getting out of the car, etc.)
In other words, make sure you've picked a good carry method and then leave it alone for the most part. Constantly checking or fiddling is far more likely to expose you than anything else.

Do you know about the TEXAS State Rifle Association?

Ht & one eye are right. A CHL will spot you, your cover, your carry position, mag holder ...WAY before casual UNobservant sheeple will. The cell phone comment?? Yes my cell phone is more noticable & harder to hide than commamder size 1911. Be cautious about neglegent flash. Don't worry about print.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

My application is in Austin right now, so I cannot legally carry, yet. But I got a new Fist IWB holster in last week and decided to check it out while doing some stuff on my own property. After doing several little chores around the house, I asked my wife if the new holster was working. Her reply was, "What holster? You mean you've had your gun this whole time?" I think that answers my question about how concerned I need to be about printing. Now if only that license would hurry up and get here...

I've given up worrying about printing/flashing.
It's not intentionally FTC and I'm not too expectant of anyone freaking out.
I often wear my Kimber in an OWB holster because...well it's comfy and fast. I'll even go so far as wear it like with just a t-shirt over it and just keep my elbow tucked in to help minimize the bulge. The butt sticks out sometimes but thats just part of life.
