My wife has always encouraged me to wear an undershirt with an untucked button down over it. She now loves that I wear a gun around because I look nicer! I always laugh when she says how nice I look because she usually doesn't know that I am concealing a full-sized hi-power!

I guess I phrased my question wrong. I meant if the cops thought we are carrying, would that be a reason to draw on us. I thought of the recent San Fransisco shooting where the cop accidentally killed that man.

I disagree. They *can* but we should resist this degradation in our rights. And the example of "May I see your insurance papers, sir?" does not apply. If they pulled you over to check your insurance without making up some other trivial violation, they would be in error and I believe could be pursued, though of course it wouldn't be worth it financially or time-wise. But that's similar to coming and kicking your door in and saying, "Might you have any illegal drugs here, sir?" Lot of wars fought to prevent this kind of stuff and we shouldn't put up with it.

After all that high & mighty, let me say that I've never had a license plate light on my truck, so I give every LEO free reign to pull me over anytime they want (well at least at night). Guess I need to get that fixed, huh? There's always something though. Kind of like being in the military or the A&M Corps of Cadets or whatever: if you make enough rules, you can be sure that every person is always breaking at least one and therefore, you can bust out on anyone, anytime, legally. Good system if you're the buster vs. being the bustee. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
