Harris County is a whole 'nuther world post-katrina. And the usual suspects in the .gov over there are in the "blame the gun not the criminal" mode, but that is the result of their politics.

I fail to see the correlation here, It would be like saying that the increase in vehicles on the road have lead to more drunk driving accidents. It just does not compute. :headscratch

It makes sense. It's legal for police to carry guns so police shoot more people than places where cops don't carry.

There are only about 400,000 CHL holders in Texas out of a population of 22 million people. That is less than 2% of the population and this person means to tell me that less than 2% of the population who has to go through a rigourous background check and take a course is the reason for an increase in police shootings.

ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER PUBLIC OFFICIAL OPENING THEIR MOUTHS TO PUSH AN AGENDA THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.
