we have lived her over 2 years and made no friends partly for that reason so that rules out that. Kids never talk to anyone we don't see and it is never about anything.

I can say I agree it could be a resident or maybe someone that has just seen the inside? UPS, FEDEX etc.

thinking about getting this

http://www.poolguard.com/door.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

its cheaper than an alarm that people pay for monthly and without stating what I do for a living I will say home alarms are very slow and to me a waste of money at this point in my life. My sister has one for her pool and it is LOUD if the button is not pushed in about 3 seconds. I don't perceive a person hearing it and separating it from another alarm?

Now my wife wants a dog... great I said a CHL is cheaper but didn't win that one.

We aren't shaken up but we are pretty ticked off. We used our loans to get what we have. I am the only one that works both full time students etc. We have insurance but doesnt mean we have a deductible. On that note State Farm has been really good to us in the past but who wants that head ache?

A buddy was saying next time it happens put a few rounds through the door. Since he has never seen my place I kindly told him I would really hesitate due to living directly across from someone not to mention wanting a positive ID. The apartment manager is supposed to call us tomorrow. I understand it is not directly her fault but seeing as how we are the 7th person and we have seen one flyer and nothing else? no courtesy patrols etc kind always made me wonder now just has ticked me off.

...don't know about the expense of the dog, pet deposit, and all that, but I'd go for the dog...mine is a lick-you-to-death mutt who sounds as if you're going to lose a leg when you rattle your keys at the door...but that's his greeting...I can tell his "someone's out there bark"...it's lots different...

...alarm systems wouldn't be my choice...even the poolguard...if they jimmy or kick the door...and it goes off, they're able to just reset it...stopping the noise...and who's going to respond, anyways...
