Glock27, you're in Frisco have you looked at Frisco Gun Club? That's where I took my class, it was a big class and there was about a 50% ratio of men to women. Lots of couples and quite a few women there by themselves, I took mine with a female friend who's husband already had a CHL. I would say its about as female friendly as you can get, its a new, modern, well lit place, in a nice area of town (which most gun ranges aren't) with a high class clientele. The rate is also $50 which can't be beat. I would have no issue with my girlfriend going there without me.
The only downside from your standpoint is that they don't let you qualify the same day, you schedule that for a weekday. You have to understand why they don't want to essentially close down their range to qualify 100 people on a Saturday afternoon. I doubt any instructor would let you attend class with her without paying. That seat you would occupy is lost revenue for them. They might not have an issue with you watching her qualify depending on the instructor doing them (many of the ranges can be viewed through glass) but I'm sure the first time you said a word to her you would be asked to leave.
