For any of you that write please make sure that you tell them that since they will not allow you to protect yourself on their property that if you enter their establishment and get hurt by another individual inside or out that you will hold them liable for not being able to protect yourself.

Or you can just tell them that since you are obviously not welcome in their establishment, you won't be eating there anymore.

I had a similar experience yesterday at TC in College Station. They have a 30.06 sign posted on the door, and after reading this thread, I knew to expect it. I made sure I brought my ruler for the trip, and when I got there, the lettering on the sign only measured about 3/4". I looked inside, and there were no valid signs on the interior, so I went back to my truck, got my handgun, put it IWB, and proceeded with my order. I typically try to avoid going there due to their 30.06 stance, but my friends wanted TC, and I obliged.

BTW, the Pupusas really are pretty dang good.

Stopped into the Taco Cabana in McKinney this evening. The 30.06 sign on the front door was about half the required size. No signage inside...

i dont know if this is already within the 12 pages of this thread,
but i went to one in arlington a few weeks ago. No sign, nothing, at all, about firearms. Nothing inside the store, nothing outside or on the window. I didnt lap the store, but I checked it well.

I have confirmed that our interior sign is in full compliance with the posting regulations. In addition, we have placed a smaller courtesy sign on the front door so that patrons are informed of the policy prior to entering the store.
Ummm... How does a "courtesy sign" on a door carry any force of law if it does not meet 30.06 specs (which are VERY specific), and how can a 30.06 sign which can only be seen upon entering carry immediate force of law if the user could not reasonably fail to see the sign until AFTER they were already in violation? It's a notice to vacate, clearly, but the sign says you've broken the law upon reading it. :banghead:
