Alright guys, I took the CHL class today and we filled out most of the paperwork in class. But I have one question, on the PHOTO holder at the top it has APPLICATION/LICENSE NUMBER. Is this the RED number on the top of the YELLOW application sheet?

Also any other clerical pitfalls I should know to avoid?

Yep, the number in red type goes in the top box on photo holder. Note: Black felt tip pen only on the whole passport photo card.

Also put that same number on EVERY item you mail them - including the back of the second picture (which requires both your signature and the cop thant fingerprints prints you). This in in the event the docs get separated or misplaced (naaaahhhhh!), they can ties it all back to your application.
