Actually Russel, the zip code range search is the only thing I can think of off hand. Thanks for the site. I plan on using my plastic, and with the exception of the areas legislated, like schools and couthouses, I wont be doing business anywhere that doesnt recognize my right to self defense. I have been looking through the listings on 30.06.com and its been helpfull. I thought I might have had to add my place of employment, but cooler heads prevailed, and as of now we are not posted.

Perhaps the ability (maybe it is already available in the comment area) to include discussions that various folks have had with the particular posted location.
It would be nice to know what their reaction was if/when it was discussed with them.

Some people, including myself, have photos available of the signs posted at the actual place of business. Can you add a link similar to the "Map It" feature that will bring up a photo if available?

Why is ZIP code searching difficult? It doesn't look like you're including the zip code, possibly because it's difficult to know what ZIP you're in, but when entering the zip code you can use either Google Maps or Microsoft Virtual Earth web services to do a lookup and you can get the zip from that.
How about Google Earth functionality? You can provide a list of addresses (no ZIP required as long as you have the rest of the info) similar to an RSS feed, and Google Earth can be told to look for and display those addresses as pushpins. Then it doesn't even have to be restricted to a zip code; you can show Google Earth users every posted location in Texas and they can interactively browse their area or wherever they plan to go.

now that's a good idea. post "pins" on a google earth type map that can show exactly where the anti-gun commies are... might also be useful for criminals to locate their next batch of unarmed victims.
but seriously, zip codes state wide might be a bit much, i never know what zip code i'm in, there's like 10 of them in arlington alone, and who really knows where the zip code borders are? but 99% of the time i can tell you what city i'm in, unless it is H.E.B... or Farmers Branch/Carrolton/ Addison... where the borders between towns are all over the place. So being able to come home and detail all of the info on a 30.06 sign that i encountered on any given day might be prohibitive to a less dedicated informant.
