Looking for a CHL Class

I'm looking for a class to get my CHL in clear lake and surrounding areas. I would like to be able to get the class done in one day including paperwork, photos, fingerprints, and firing range. I know about the league city gun range but I stopped going there. Got really tired of the grouchy people(well, 2 of them mainly). Anyone have any suggestions and what they charge?

Hopefully he will chime in, but our own El Gato's class has received rave reviews from those that have taken it. He is a first class gentleman and boy can he shoot.

He is in Texas City and it would be worth the drive.

You may also want to take a look at PSC in Friendswood. They have a first class operation.

Dustin....I would highly recommend Tom Estep (El Gato) from this forum. My wife and I both took Tom's class in Texas City.

If you would like, send me a PM and I will give you his telephone numbers.

I've recorded your phone numbers ElGato, I will definately be giving you a call once I get some money saved up. How much do you charge for the course and where is it held? Also there is one thing I was wondering about. When I was around 18 I got charged with a class B misdemeanor but the case was dismissed. As far as I know, a dismissal is still a 'conviction' to the CHL background check. I'm not sure of the exact date of dismissal so I'm not entirely sure it has been a full 5 years since, although it has to be very close if not. To avoid being rejected and losing my application fee/time, is there somewhere I can go to do a record check on myself?

P.S - I haven't been in any trouble whatsoever since then, aside from a no inspection and speeding ticket.

I'm not 100% on this so someone feel free to correct me, but I believe your record prior to being 21 years old is not checked in the background check unless it was a felony.
