Capital Metro considering allowing CCW

#1

Post by Warhorse545 »

Was listing to the radio yesterday KLBJ 590 AM in Austin and was surprised that Capital Metro board members unanimously approve a plan to let those with permits for CCW carry. The story was on KLBJ web site and I can not locate it now. Here is a Cache of the front page, but link to story is empty.

This is good news and it's also a bit funny. The day that the Houston METRO Board vote to rescind its unenforceable CHL handgun ban was reported on news outlets through the State, Capital Metro announced that they weren't even considering a change. They would fight it out in court, because it was the right thing to do! Jerry Patterson said "fine, we'll sue them too, just like we did Houston METRO."

I'm happy to see Capital Metro is all gusto and no guts.

Thanks for the report,
Chas.
