Dps website shows certificat issue or active on 9/3-09. i got an email from dps on 9/4/09 stating same thing. it is 9/11/09 and i still dont have my license, how long to get the plastic after approved. im offshore right now and cant call to find out. ive been processing this application since 2-27-09, so im ready for plastic.

My license went to "active" on 9/5/9 according to the website and I am still waiting.

In my case it went "complete' on a Saturday and the license arrived on the Monday (UPS overnight)...I think it depends on whos cage you rattle as to how it gets shipped.

Mine came 4 days after it showed approved.
Showed up in regular mail.
It's surprising how differently notification and sending the license is handled.
There doesn't seem to be uniformity.
I didn't receive any confirmation emails as a previous poster said.
Nor did mine come over night.

Mine went to Complete on the Wednesday before labor day and I had it in hand Tuesday after labor day. No rhyme or reason it seems to how long the mail takes.

yeah plastic arrived today 9/14, post marked 9/10. im good to go when i get home

Finally, as of 9-15-09 I have my Plastic. Today is a great day to know that I am Legally carrying my weapon. No more looking in the rearview mirror with paranoia of illegal carry.

Mine showed active on a Monday and arrived the following Tuesday.

Two weeks for me, but DPS seems to be working much faster now?
