Great CHL Support Article

The above is a great article written in suport of conceal carry. It also mentions Texas statistics favorably as well. Conceal Carry is slowly gaining acceptance has more and more people look at the real data and conclude that those of us who conceal carry are in fact law-abiding and not a threat. We still have a very very long way to go before a large majority of Americans accept CCW, but the more favorible statistics and stories we can spotlight, the better.

Update: Article was written by a student at the college.

Statistics prove that the smartest and most responsible citizens carrying guns are permit holders.
I am flattered, but how do statistics prove that we are among the smartest? Responsible, yeah. Smart? Look at all these folks that don't agree with each and every thing that I say! :anamatedbanana

I'm sure the article meant "smart" in the fashion sense.

You know, CHLers being known for haute couture, with wife beater tee shirts, flip flops and designer cut offs regarded as everyday wear.

Wait, just kidding.

I know we're all slaves to "Gentlemens Quarterly".

I can't hide my .44 in a wife beater. It's hawaiian shirts and a tact vest for me! Take that GQ! :coolgleamA:

Good article Familyman1993, thanks for posting. :tiphat: :thumbs2: The comments are an interesting read too.

It's the campus newspaper of Virginia Tech. Very well done newspaper.

Edit to add: I hate the term "wife beater shirt". Couldn't you say muscle shirt instead?

Hold on sec. Y'all wear shirts? :woohoo
But seriously folks, were very fortunate to have the well written, pro chl articles above. They might help to better educate those who don't quite understand the neccessity/ responsibility to protect themselves and or family. I've met far too many people that got proper training and armed themselves only after some horrific event convinced them to do so.
