Going on a trip guys!

Unfortunaly, I will be heading to new York . Before I go just want to make sure again.new York does not honor our chls right? That means I ll have to leave my " loads" in Texas? Anyways to carry to new York without troubles? U know just want to be safe ..especially new York where all the crimes are...wish me luck thanks!!!

You are correct. The state of New York DOES NOT honor Texas CHL's.

+1...I unfortunately had to live there for 4 years....its no coincidence I'm in college in the south and will never be in the north again :-)

Hope you are not to be in the high crime areas. I understand the up state areas ore pretty good folks.
I agree w/ arnoldstrong, (congrats on coming South for colege) I would HAVE to be forced to go therre. Dont know any way that could happem to me. I know it could but can't see it.

I lived there for 3.5 years when I was in my 20s — right in Manhattan. I enjoyed myself, but I was ignorant back then too. I couldn't stand to go there today.

Keep an eye out for the Cash Cab. Maybe you'll get lucky and come home with enough money to buy a new gun. :mrgreen:

That is one state you don't want to get caught carrying. There was a pro basket ball player that got something like 2 1/2 years
