You ever been asked to leave your gun in the car/house or ever been asked to leave because you were armed?

DUDE! You're mixed up. I asked you to leave because you weren't armed and I couldn't be held responsible for your safety!

I think it's a safe bet they won't ask you to leave because you're armed. ;-) However, I don't think I'd chance starting a health care bill debate there.

Why? I'm armed too :rolll

I was almost asked not to bring my gun to a friends house, by his girlfriend, but he stepped in and set it right

If your talking CHL carry is supposed to be secret and nobody should know you have a handgun so how can they even ask. (?)

I had a first date with a girl last month who told me "no guns" and not to carry on the date....I did anyways and she never knew.
Needless to say that was her first strike, the other 2 strikes quickly followed.
She was odd...and from the far north. That probably explains most of her issues.....

When I'm around friends or relatives that know I carry I don't put much effort into my concealment when I'm not in public. My girlfriend's father, with whom I hadn't encountered since receiving my plastic, asked me to leave it in the car and that I "didn't need it here". As most here would, I strongly disagree with this policy but it's his house and he has several readily accessible firearms (which confuses me still) so I let it slide.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson

Maybe an Ego thing. Since I got my Plastic my friends dont poke fun at me like we used to, which I guess I'm all right with, but I dont want them to be afraid of me

Only one friend and one relative (by marriage) know I carry. Concealed is concealed, as they say.

Very few of my colleagues, neighbors, and acquaintances know I have a CHL and am habitually armed; only family and a few good friends.
Original CHL: 2000: 56 day turnaround
1st renewal, 2004: 34 days
2nd renewal, 2008: 81 days
3rd renewal, 2013: 12 days
