Back Ground Check Completed, L-1 Says FBI Rejected Prints

#1

Post by ronrog69 »

Has anyone had this happen? Had my fingerprints done a second time electronically after original rolled prints were rejected. A week later, L-1 sends me an email that my prints were rejected. However, DPS web site shows background check completed and licenses pending manufacturing. Called DPS and got conflicting response. First call I was told the L-1 rejection notice must have been an error and to ignore it. Called L-1 and they said FBI rejected prints. Called DPS back to again check status and was referred back to the person I spoke with the call before. That person told me she had checked with the Supervisor and confirmed that they had received notice of the rejection. Yet, they posted on the web site that background check complete, and license is pending printing. I'm still having my prints redone today. Better safe than sorry. Murphy's Law, ya' know?
