I just wanted to register simply to say THANK YOU! and thank goodness for the "search" function.

I had the very same question and am getting finger printed today.

Welcome to the forum!!

As you can see from my signature it was absolutely not an issue at all. Good luck with your application and remember to post up in the waiting room.

Hello all. Quick question on this subject - the "CHL application ID#" on the FAST fingerprinting form, I'm getting conflicting answers where to get this number. My instructor told me it's the number below the barcode on the paper you print out after completing online app; the DPS said the fingerprinting place will give ke that number; the guy at the fingerprinting place said the info was not in his computer and that the CHL application ID# is located below the barcode and is the sequence of numbers starting with CH. Can someone help clear up this nonsense for me, I have all my stuff ready to send in but want to make sure I put the right info down.

Thanks.

Yes, interesting...

I was planning on showing up at the L1 office with the online application checklist (with the barcode) so that they knew who I was and where to send the prints so that they matched up with my CHL application.

I didn't see anything specifically from L1 in their email confirmation that said to bring anything - just had a link to a google map and said to call 24 hours early to reschedule if you can't make it.

So, in short - what the heck do you bring to the L1 office?

You only need to bring that FAST form you print out when you make the appointment.

I don't recall any FAST form that I had to print out. Is there any way to go back and do a re-print of something?

Unfortunately I'm not sure if you can go back and print out the form. Might be a good idea to call the place you scheduled the appt with to do the fingerprinting and ask them.
