Kyle City Park and Liberary

Post by Huff9337 »

How do I fine out if it is legal to carry in the Kyle Public Liberary? It is across the street from a school. Also can you carry in the Kyle city park. I do not know who to ask. If I ask in the liberary they will most likely say no carry. Can anybody help me? Thanks

If you have a Texas Concealed Handgun License, then it is legal to carry in a Public Library, unless the library is part of the school (doubtful). It is legal to carry in a city park with a CHL too. There may be signs posted at either of these locations, but they do not make carrying (w/ a CHL) illegal. A couple of legal citations to back this up...

Hope this helps.
