Race Track
Got my card in the mail yesterday. So now I'm ready. Having trouble understanding the racetrack rules. My instructor said it was any and all racetracks. My question is. Is it illegal to carry at the local saturday night dirttrack races?

According to the statutes, here's the definition of racetrack:
The question you really need answered, "Is it a professional sporting event?"(25) "Racetrack" means a facility that is licensed under
this Act for the conduct of pari-mutuel wagering on greyhound
racing or horse racing.

That's right Pawpaw. That is what i need to know. Go to the races alot, just doesn't seem the same as say Lone Star Park.
Also being a Postal Employee am I right to say as long as I park across the street I am legal to have my weapon in my vehichle.

"Premises" means a building or a portion of a building. The
term does not include any public or private driveway, street, sidewalk
or walkway, parking lot, parking garage, or other parking area
