Need some advice from the older and bit...I mean wiser guys here (and I know there are quite a few of few).

I have gun safe that I have through bolted to the floor and wall in a hall closet in my home. It is definitely big enough that someone who sees it knows that it much have some good "stuff" in it. I have a contractor coming to the house to do some work this afternoon and he will need to get into this closet at some point. I should have thought this out a week ago, but it just occurred to me that I have no idea how I am going to handle this. Hopefully he is an honest guy, but I don't particularly want anyone knowing I have a safe or thinking that it would be neat to come back some time on their own and try to see what is in it.

Any advice? What should I say not say?

Get a copy of his liability bonding. If he isn't have bonded, don't use him!

Buy one of those fake security cameras and mount it in the bedroom or closet where he will see it.
