Question about the last 5 years of employment

#1

Post by longbow »

Hey guys, I sent in all my stuff on 12/21/11 and I am currently in the Under Review portion of my application. When I filled out my employment history I think I missed a few jobs that I had and I am worried that that might mess up my application. Basically I had a full time employer year round for those 5 years but I also had summer employment that I forgot to add. Is this going to be a problem? (My record is clean, I don't even have any speeding tickets) Also, since I'm 21, will they look through my background as a juvenile and if so, do any of you know if that lengthens the process any?

First off welcome to the forum.

If you listed that you were employed at XYZ Company for the full five years, i.e. 2006 - present, then the extra jobs in the middle won't matter. The main thing is don't leave any gaps in the dates.

They will look at your juvenile record, but as long as it is clean it won't make any difference on time. They look at everyone's records as far back as they can, so if there is anything that you have been arrested for, then it needs to be listed. In your case, since you say your record is clean, then you should have no issues.
