I saw this on FB today. The cop is great. The activist is a tool.

The Cop was incredible. With friends like those two, we don't need enemies.
I was surprised to find out LA is an open carry state. I'm in Texarkana and go to Shreveport often. In the 26 years I've lived here, I haven't seen some numb skull pushing the issue yet.

Answering my own question: Listened a second time and I THINK I heard the officer reference Oregon law in the exchange

From the video:
I'm glad you guys are exercising your 2nd Amendment rights. With you guys in the area, we're not going to have any crime, and I appreciate that.
Good job officer! :thumbs2:

The Tool, quotes Oregon constitution as the basis for his dissent and disagreement to being contacted. I was kind of hoping the officer would taze him….watched the vid three times… never did….LOL

The officer had the patience of Job, the citizen was an idiot. If I were the officer, I also would have invited him to attend their training session, so I could show him some hand-to-hand...

For some reason I cannot explain, you need to remove the "www." after the HTTP:// and before the "youtube" :headscratch

I lived just outside of Baton Rouge for 3 years. The first time I ever saw a civilian open carry in a business was at CiCi's pizza in Baton Rouge. At the time, I wrote silent dispatch software and worked with a ton of local agencies. I asked the guy which agency he worked for. He explained that he wasn't an officer, he was mugged two years earlier and had carried since.
