Texas CHL eligibility question

Hello, I had a double reserves enlistment. I have a honerable discharge from the air force reserves back in, a under than honerable discharge from the air national guard for misconduct, failed drug screen. Would the latter be a disqualification for a CHL? This happened back in '86.

An other than honorable discharge does not disqualify you from getting a CHL but it does disqualify you from the discount.

bizarrenormality , thank you for your reply. Yea I'm cool with no discount just concerned about the nature of the misconduct charge. I was young, dumb and stupid in my early days now I am wiser and have that only regret in life.
