Concealed Carry in Circuit of the Americas

I wanted to get opinions on a CHL holder carrying in the Circuit of the Americas F1 track this weekend. In looking at their Prohibited Items List, they list:
"Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs, nightsticks or other items"
http://circuitoftheamericas.com/prohibited-items
Given the difficulty of just getting up to the gate (i.e. busses and traffic), I'd rather have an idea before I get there. Without valid 30.06 signs posted at the entrances, I believe I am within my rights to carry.
Any opinions?

I would expect it would be like Texas Motor Speedway - carry prohibited at a professional sporting event, otherwise, if not posted, then it is fine.

Welcome to the forum.
As stated, it would be a professional sporting event, so no carry.

Security will be at the highest possible considering the level of the event and the different countries represented. Use caution there.

So far that hasn't been the case... No metal detectors and very light searching at the entrances. They weren't interested in checking my camera backpack nor my foldable chair. I'm not carrying inside, but looks like it would be very easy to bring a weapon into the circuit... Scary

Scary? If it's really scary, don't go.

The only other option is to take your chance and carry (you'll be "breaking the law", of course) as it doesn't sound like you'll be detected anyway.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but what about CHL at the amphitheater on a concert night? Not a sporting event. Does anyone know if it is posted. Also, who owns the faicilities? It's not city owned is it?

Not City owned. It was not posted anywhere I saw at F1 or Grand Am races. However, as stated previously those were most definitely professional sporting events. Doesn't mean it won't be the night of the concert.

I was VERY surprised this past Saturday night, when my party walked in to the Speedway (NRA 500) with two large carry coolers and nobody asked to search them.

Since this thread was revived, I have to ask. Are there actually instructors who don't cover the whole professional sporting events subject in their class? Seems like that question comes up a little too often (or is it just me thinking that once is too often?)

People will remember some things from a 10 hour class, but certainly not everything. It takes regular reinforcement afterwards. Even after that, anyone can get hazy on some point. The DPS wants instructors to keep records of what was taught to each class precisely for that reason. Students involved in a worst case scenario can't claim something wasn't taught if we have those records.

Just to follow up. There was a legal 30.06 sign at the entrance. The sign appeared to be portable and is probably only put out on nights when the event in not sport related.
