Does the Original CHL-100 and FAST Receipt need to be sent?

#1

Post by kman79 »

Hello,

I sent my documents as an attachment on this site: https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/contact/default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on September 17th, I know it's only technically been 8 business days, so I'll wait another week or two before attempting to send it in by mail.

With that said, do they require the original documents to be sent or would a copy of the CHL-100 and FAST receipt suffice? I'd like to keep the originals just in case it somehow gets lost in the mail. This is also the reason why I looked forward to submitting all documents online. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

If you submitted them electronically, then I would wait until they contact you about additional documentation before sending anything. If you do need to send it in, they will not need the FAST receipt. I would let them tell you if they need the original or copy of the CHL-100.
