Yeah, my understanding is that they only get involved with a shooting or something of that sort. If you get involved in "weapons in places prohibited" or anything else like that, you're still on your own.

I doubt they would be willing to represent you as a member if you signed up after the event in question. You could still probably use their program attorneys, but you would have to go through the same hiring process as with any other outside attorney.

They cover the use (including display) of any weapon, but I don't think your situation quite falls into that category.
