These are just a few pics of the 20 or so pigs that my brother and I bagged over the christmas break. All but one were taken with my stag 5.56 and one was taken with 3-1/2in buckshot.
All three pics are the same pig.
Two others. The boar had an unusually long snout.
A smaller boar that my brother shot with buckshot. Rolled him at about 35 yards. Bro and sis are in the pic.
Boar and sow.
Large boar that my buddy and I took. My buddy needed to break in his new glock so I figured this was the perfect opportunity.
Another boar.

Re: Christmas Break Pig Kills
When we see hogs on our place it is "shoot on sight". And just where is all this fun going on?

Just outside of alvin. Shoot on sight applies out here as well.

Nice hogs! What kind of bullet are you using in the 5.56?
If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

Regular 55gr. fmj Federal 100 round value pack from wally. I've used the 62gr. stuff before and there wasn't a noticeable difference so I just stuck with the 55gr.LongHairedRedneck wrote:Nice hogs! What kind of bullet are you using in the 5.56?
