??? thought they were endangered and protected, meaning you'd have to be licensed to remove dangerous pest animals or be in a survival situation to kill one.

Well, it is supposed to be anyway. However, you never know WHAT you might really be eating!!! :lol: Restaurants serve farm raised gator. Pretty popular in the southeast.

I have a friend who played for the Saints. Used to gator hunt with him and his brother periodically. Never got any near that big though. Definatley a trophy there Dan!! :thumbs2:

Thanks,

I got him in the Eagle Lake area. A friend of mine has 500 acres with deer, gators, ducks, and sometimes hogs. It's also where I do most of my range practice.

That's a HUGE gator.

Season starts soon!
I'll be hunting teal and checking the gator lines in a couple of weeks.
